We moved to Darien from the city and found MFCP by a last-minute chance but feel so lucky to have joined this community. My two boys grew so many close friendships and gained so much confidence before entering Kindergarten, and now my daughter is thriving in the 2s. I’m also so grateful to have created so many close friendships with other MFCP parents. The school, teachers, curriculum, community, and nurturing atmosphere truly can’t be beat!
MFCP is an incredible preschool and provided my children with a wonderful learning environment filled with love, faith, a strong community, and endless support. The teachers and administrators are highly educated and experienced in Early Childhood Education and are warm, welcoming, and great partners. We feel very fortunate to have found this school when we moved to Darien from the city.
Would give a 10 star rating to MFCP preschool if I could. My three children were students from 2s through PreK, and what consistently stands out is the quality and dedication of the teachers and staff. They are expertly knowledgeable in the field of Early Childhood Education and express a genuine care and love for their students. The individualized learning approach is facilitated by the small class sizes and warm community feeling of the school. In the older classes, the focus on early literacy and social-emotional skills set my children up for great success in Kindergarten and beyond.
MFCP has not only helped my 2 children grow to love learning, but it has provided our entire family with community, support and friendships that will last a lifetime. The depth of experience on the teaching staff is impressive and translates into invaluable insights and impact that I feel lucky to have access to.
Methodist is a wonderful, loving, caring environment for young children and their families. Our son is in his second year and we couldn’t be happier with his experience, the teachers, and early learning education it provides. It is a wonderful community, and we can’t wait for our second to start next year!
An incredible place. We’ve had 3 kids at MFCP over 6 years and I can’t say enough about the quality of the teachers, impressive curriculum, and the joyfulness they brought home after a day at MFCP. It’s an absolute pleasure to be part of this community.

Easter Sing & Egg Hunt
What a joyous Sunday morning spent with our families. The children sang during the Easter Service and stayed for a fun egg hunt on the playground.
Fall Parent Party
Taco ’bout a Fun Party!
We served up a fun afternoon of tacos and margaritas with a side of tennis! What a great way to close out the summer. Love all!
Dad’s Day
We welcomed our MVPs for a morning of fun. The children loved showing them the ropes at school and creating a special project together.
Moving Up Day
Our 4s & Pre-K students had their moment to shine on this gorgeous May day. We are so excited to see what they do next!
Thanksgiving Sing
What a special morning! Listening to the children sing reminded us of how blessed we are to come together on a gorgeous day with the sole purpose of being thankful. This year, a record-breaking 300 canned and dry goods were donated to Person to Person’s Food Pantry. We are blown away by the generosity of our parents!
Halloween Parade
Our ghosts, goblins, princesses and Pokemons got to strut their stuff on this gorgeous autumn morning. What a treat for our families to come together to celebrate Halloween!
Family Fun Night
What a fantastic Family Fun Night! Thank you for coming out with your families on such a nice evening. We continue to be so thankful for these in-person celebrations that bring our community together.
